Station51 reserves the right make changes to this TOS at any time.

IRC, IRC Bots, and IRC Daemons of any kind are strictly prohibited. Our datacenters don't like it, so therefore we can't allow it.

Pornography isn't permitted on public sites, but can be stored and shared privately. And as usual, child pornography is strictly prohibited and anyone caught with it will be reported to the authorities.

P2P Traffic is a gray area. The datacenters do not want heavy torrent trackers with a lot of public commercial torrents. If you choose to run a tracker, you risk losing your server. We do not disallow it, but we offer no protection against your server being shut down. The current climate for p2p of any kind on the datacenters we rent from is pretty cool. If you choose to run a tracker, so long as its not abusing the network, and the datacenter isn't getting complaints, they seem to be ok with it. However, if complaints arise, your server could be terminated. We have no control over that. If you wish to run a tracker, just simply don't tell us.

FTP Servers are ok however, if you are transferring questionable material, it must be done privately and not on a public server. You may also not abuse your servers line by transferring steady streams at high speed all the time. The datacenter frowns on that quite a bit as our servers we rent are economy servers. If you try to run a heavy FTP on these, be prepared for us to contact you if the datacenter complains.

Station51 has the right to disconnect or terminate your service at any time for any reason at all. We reserve the right to charge additional fees as needed for abuse of bandwidth as billed by the datacenter, and to add charges for additional services.

You are required to pay your invoices on time. Not doing so puts you at risk for losing your server. Late fees are charged when an invoice is 7 days past its due date.
